Laura Springer was a longtime dedicated employee of our Apprenticeship School and proudly served Local Union 349 for over 30 years. She was known for her kindness, dedication, and the love she had for everyone she worked with. Laura is currently in the ICU fighting a very serious illness, and her family is asking for prayers and support during this difficult time.Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Please be advised that our Local Union Elections will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026.
If you are unable to attend in person to cast your vote, you may request an Absentee Ballot through any of the following methods:
• Website - Visit the main page under the IBEW Lightning area
• Mobile App - IBEW349 App under "Absentee Request Form"
• Email Request - Submit your request to the Election Judge at ElectionJudge@ibew349.orgElections are an important part of our Local Union, and your participation is strongly encouraged. We encourage all eligible members to take part in this important process.

A recent graduate of our Apprenticeship Program and a proud member of our Local Union, Miles was known for his kindness, strength, and unwavering support for others.
