On behalf of the Southwest Florida CLC, I’m excited to announce that we

will be celebrating Labor Day 2026 with a Union Picnic at Lakes Regional Park in Fort Myers!

We invite your members and their families to join us in this celebration.

Please RSVP by August 26 with an estimated headcount so we can plan food and activities accordingly.

This is a day for solidarity, family, food, and fun — a chance for all of us to come together across crafts, trades, and locals to honor the hard work and unity that powers our communities.

Feel free to bring union banners, wear your colors, and show your pride!

A check-in table will be set up at the entrance where guests will receive raffle tickets.

Laura Springer

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Laura Springer June 24, 2026. Laura Springer was a longtime dedicated employee of our Apprenticeship School and proudly served Local Union 349 for over 30 years. She was known for her kindness, dedication, and the love she had for everyone she worked with.
